Dictone

Speaking is three times faster than typing, and it writes Chinese the way people in Taiwan actually write. In any app, press a hotkey and start talking: the text appears right at your cursor, with punctuation, paragraphs and proper nouns already handled. It's text you can send as is, not a raw transcript.

Where it stands: The iPhone version is in internal TestFlight testing, and a small group of readers will get to try it for free first. I use the Mac version myself every day.

MatrixMemo

In developmentMac & iPhone

MatrixMemo

A sticky note on your Mac desktop that sorts your to-dos into the four boxes of the Eisenhower Matrix (important / urgent), so they're always in view and you can jot one down anytime. Everything is stored in Apple Reminders and syncs between Mac and iPhone via iCloud.

Where it stands: I use the Mac version every day, and the iPhone version is installed on my own phone. I'm polishing it before it goes to TestFlight.
